Anna Ochmańska

Psychologist, psychotherapist, coordinator of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Poland. With 17 years of experience at IOM, Anna combines her expertise as psychologist and psychotherapist to address the needs of migrants and refugees.

As the Coordinator of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Program at IOM, Anna employs her psychological and therapeutic insights to develop and execute holistic support programs. These initiatives designed to alleviate the psychological and emotional burdens faced by displaced people, offering pathways to resilience and long-term recovery.

In addition to her direct work with displaced individuals, Anna is committed to enhancing the capabilities of her colleagues in the humanitarian sector. Through workshops and training sessions, she imparts essential knowledge and skills in psychosocial support, intercultural competence, and effective communication with diverse populations. Her efforts ensure that those on the front lines of humanitarian work are equipped to offer compassionate and culturally sensitive assistance.
