Rafał Raczyński

Political scientist, assistant professor at the Department of International Relations at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Gdańsk, chief research officer at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia; member of the Committee for Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Pomeranian Council for Regional Migration Policy, and the Pomeranian Provincial Labour Market Council. He holds a PhD in social sciences in the field of political science with a specialization in international relations. He is a graduate of political science at the University of Gdańsk, the European School at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology, and human resource management at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities. His academic work focuses on migration issues and diaspora studies. He is the author of dozens of publications on these topics, published both in Poland and internationally. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal “Polski Przegląd Migracyjny / The Polish Migration Review” and an editor at the “European Journal of Transformation Studies”. His research interests include: migration, migration and integration policies, diasporas, and diaspora policy.
