In connection with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), we inform you that:
- The controller of your personal data provided in the form is the Emigration Museum in Gdynia (hereinafter referred to as the Controller), with its registered office in Gdynia (81-339) at 1 Polska Street (contact details of the Data Protection Officer: iod@muzeumemigracji.pl).
- Your personal data is processed in connection with participation in the conference entitled: “‘Resistant and Resilient’ Congress. How museums navigate through the times of crisis” for the purposes of communication with the conference organizer (contact regarding organizational matters), the preparation of the conference participant list, and the sending of post-conference materials.
- Personal data is processed based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e., your consent to the processing of personal data.
- Personal data will be processed for a period of 12 months from the date of the conference’s conclusion or until consent for data processing is withdrawn.
- Recipients of personal data may include entities providing hosting and IT services to the Controller solely at the Controller’s request for technical support purposes.
- You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, erase it, or restrict its processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time (contact: iod@muzeumemigracji.pl), and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
- Personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
- Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for participation in the conference.
